Yesterday I had a very busy day.
I was a little worried about it,
then this good mail came right before I took off for the day.
It made all the difference.
Wende the great, sent me all this great stuff.
The candy bar was great therapy as
I started the day driving to the DMV to get
my car tabs. The DMV had moved, then the road to get there was
closed! I had to take a detour which was ridiculously long.
The candy bar~ wow.
It was dark chocolate so you know it was healthy!!
And hazelnuts-
don't they say you should eat a handful of nuts a day?
Right after that I took the missionary in waiting
& went to visit my sister & Riley who was
admitted to the hospital the day before.
He has lost weight the whole two weeks he has been on the outside.
I know 5lb. 6 oz. babies are not super small, but in our family
they are. This is Brian's cell phone.
I really think his head has grown from last week when I saw him.
He is doing good- he will be fine-
he just needs to get a little weight on him
& get a little older. (he was 41/2 weeks early)
After a day of cleaning & organizing things - hanging out with
& doing homework with my other darling nieces & nephews-
we met Brian & some of his best buddies to get ice cream
YUM!
Ruthie is going to be really happy when she gets home & sees
what Brian did in her front yard!
Before
After
It was dark when the kids & I finished planting the 70 surprises
along the walkway and covered
it all up with bark. So the picture doesn't do justice.
(She never reads my blog so she won't know)
Thanks Brian for all your help.
I couldn't have done it with out you.
It was a very satisfying day
Today I think I am going to hang out with my pillow & Max.

Gee Patsy what a wonderful thing you did for your sister. The front yard looks so beautiful now.
Riley looks so extra tiny. Having those tubes in his nose looks so sad altho I know they are helping him. Having him so small probably has your sister so very scared. He's sure precious. Thank you for all the hard work and for taking such good care of your sister. Thanks for sharing the photo's with us. Bless you.
Thanks mom! (It's really hard to tell I know- that comment was written by my mom)
What a great service to your sis! She will come home and feel great that her yard is all ready for fall! It looks great... you will have to go back and get pics next spring of the 70 little surprises when they come up... I am guessing it was bulbs you planted??
Great to see little Riley, I didn't realize how super tiny he is... when you said his head was smaller than a softball, even in the first pictures, he didn't look THAT small... but the cell phone clinches it (nicely done). He is super duper tiny. I am glad he is fighting back so well... I heard he pudged up a couple of ounces today... yippee! We will continue to keep him and the family in our prayers... fun to see some of the other kids, thanks so much for the pictures!
Love and Hugs,
Beth
I thought his head looked bigger than a softball yesterday. He is definately doing better today! All the prayers coming his way are helping I'm sure.
That's some delightful good mail from Wende!
How sweet of you to surprise Ruthie with cleaned up flower beds and planted bulbs, what a gift! I need serious help in my yard but think I need a team of specialists at this point.
