Fall 2014

Fall is really my favorite time of year.

I just have to go back & post a little about last year... before...

it comes again!

During October we made cookies-

and watched the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Hailey turned 21- she loves all things chicken- and got this funny chicken plate.
Isn't she just the cutest!?

and Charlie turned 5.

He wanted pirate dress up clothes for his birthday.

Lucky me- I made it to Charlie's Preschool Halloween Parade.

AND- Trent is big enough now to carve his own pumpkins- so fun.

On Halloween night a cowboy Johnny & chocolate covered 50's style Claire dropped in.

The Swat Team took care of a little pumpkin & went trick or treating in their own neighborhood.

Buzz & Woody had the best time- but by the time I took this photo- they were done.

I am still teaching cooking classes for kids at home & at work downtown.

As much as I hate summer to come to an end- 

Fall 2015 is just around the corner.

just a little halloween post

It was pretty darn sweet to have Chloe home (and home permanently!) for Halloween!

I am working on a post all about our journey with Chloe's illness -

it's very difficult to write & is taking a long time.

Anyhow!

She came home for good -

on October 30 sigh- then SHOUT for joy!

After being home for a bit-

she got all dressed up for the church Halloween Party!

Oh this costume is so funny to me- she's a hitch hiker dude.

My favorite part is the underwear sticking out the back of her pants. hahahahha

This costume is so funny because she is so opposite of this & it's so fun for her.

Last Christmas Brian & Laura gave Brett this plastic dog poop.

Oh DEar - HeaveN Help Us All.

He pulls "the dog poop prank, " and I gotta admit- it is pretty funny... sometimes.

This time it went on Chloe's friend Daniel's shoe. 

He came in to get his shoes before they all left for a party & was so not happy.

hahahhaha - for a minute.

Halloween is not the same without little people around.

I miss that.

But- it's okay. That's why I did it up BIG while I could.

Chloe & I took a trip up to Ruthie's town to see

We left early

stopped for dinner

then met Ruthie at the theater.

We had a GREAT time, just Chloe & I.

It was fun to see a completely different kind of ballet.

Afterward, we ran out to meet up with the dancer herself!

It was such a fun show & so spooky.

The talent was awesome, the theater & sets fantastic.

It was fun to get out & do something together.

it's halloween 2011

Halloween Day 2011 started off great- I woke up & wrote to missionary Jack (his email/prep day is Monday) then took Trent to see his favorite Dr. Mike the specialist we go to at the U.

As you can see it's been a gorgeous day! It's the end of term (teacher prep day) so there was no school, which gave us lots of time to get to our important Halloween activities. After the appointment we ran back home- picked up the girls- ate lunch at Arctic Circle- then picked up pumpkins to carve! Nothing like the last minute.

he wasn't sure he wanted to go trick or treating or not- he LOVES to give out the candy & isn't a big fan of eating lots of candy... although he does eat more than he used to- we reminded him he doesn't have many years of trick or treating left. so he changed his mind & did go out for a bit.

Chloe the mummy/zombie with her pumpkin all carved & in pain with that fork in it's eye- who knew Chloe could be so scary?

Trent's pumpkin was carved out this year entirely by him- without any help!

We live in the best neighborhood for trick or treators- I love it.

The missionary wrote-- he's so good-- I talked to Brian on the phone for a bit & also got to talk to megan. Brett came home early from work & we ordered pizza for dinner- Does it get any better than that? not for me!
