big date

Last night was the big homecoming dance at the High School.Jack went with the most darling girl- Kristy's daughter Emily- is she gorgeous or what?
Wende took some photos for Kristy & I- thanks wende! Jack of course as always has one of his favorite cowboy belt buckles on for the picture ..... hmmmm. I'm just so glad he went, & with a great girl, & had a great time- so I'm not saying a word- not a single word about the PBR (professional bull riders) belt buckle. ??
This was for sure one of the funnest Homecoming dates ever- they went to dinner at Olive Garden, then went to the dance. After the dance they went to Jack's friends, dad's hanger. They watched movies & took turns taking flights to view the city lights- temple square, etc. Cool.
It was so kind of his dad to fly the kids six at a time.
What a thrill!!
*did you go to H.S. dances?
*would you have let your daughter go on the flight...?

Your kids are growing up so fast and Brian looks great out there on his mission!

Now that is why he was dosing off during our Primary Program in sacrament meeting! :)

And no I never went to one high school dance. I never asked and no one ever asked me. I'm glad those days are over!

Sounds like a great date...and yes I would let my daughter go on a flight..after the pilot passed a background check and proved his credentials to us.

Aw, the buckle totally makes the ensemble! Seriously, I think he really pulls it off, looks great, etc.

Yeah, I did go to *one* high school dance - it was my first date, and really one of the worst of my life. Ugh. I did have a date for Sr. Prom, but he backed out at the last minute (loser!). I do sometimes regret not going, you know, Molly Ringwald style. But then, chilling with my sister, watching movies and eating cake, makes a better memory I think.

Wow, what a homecoming experience to take flights! I've never heard of such a thing.

They both look so nice all decked out in their fancy clothes. You and Kristy must have felt like such proud moms.

holly- jack sleeps through sacrament meeting most of the time... after the sacrament of course. But during the program??! how rude!! it's the best sunday of the year-
at least he wasn't drooling- ya he drools during church... another fabulous reason to be proud ;)

Hey Patsy!
You don't need to worry about copying my pics. I put the copyright on them just so crazy people don't post them as their own or try to sell them. I do appreciate you linking the photos back to me!

I'm so sorry that you're down with an injured foot. That's definitely not fun...unless you're being waited on hand and foot by family and friends. If that's the case, you should milk it for all it's worth.

I hope you get the chance to get a little crafting and fall decorating done. Have a great day!

Wow! Sounds like an awesome date!!!

Our teenager didn't go this year... hopefully he will feel inspired and a little less girl shy next year.

I bet if I let him wear his belt buckle "just like Jack" and he could find someone to take them flying over the city lights... well that might create a spark of interest! So cool!
