SPT- Welcome Home

If you came to my house to visit. You would definitely ring the front door bell. Even though there is one at the back door- it's just for meddling, smarty pants kids who like to trick their mother & watch her go to the front door over & over. This guy would most likely open the door.

followed by intensely annoying barking by Max.

He is very territorial & it is extremely embarrassing.

I would most likely look like this- pony tail, ratty ol' inside out sweatshirt & jeans, with bare feet. I call this my puttering around the house style & I love it.

I love visitors- when I know they are coming. I am definitely not a just drop in kind of gal. Being a chronic over scheduler/planner type person, that throws my mind into a tail spin.
Yesterday was kind of a bad one. Today is better.

Your door seems very welcoming, but I'll be sure to call first--I don't want to send your head into a tail spin. :)

We have a four legged doobell as well, but we love her!

Comfy clothes are the BEST!

It would be a very warm welcome if greeted by your cute little guy and/or by Max.

I'm not the drop in kinda gal either...although I do have them from time to time. Not so much lately though because our best friends across the street moved away. Luckily for us, they didn't move to far so they do still drop by.

I love the puttering around the house dress code...I have been actually know to answer the door for those drop in visitors in my robe and/or pj's. They usually never just drop in again...wonder why??!!

It's good to know what to expect if I were ever to visit you. I wouldn't think of popping in because 1. I'm never in Centerville and 2. You're always so busy I wouldn't expect you to be home!

I wish I wasn't such a planner/ scheduler sometimes. It seems like it would be so nice to just have someone drop in... but Jill's right I wouldn't be here or I would need to be somewhere or doing something. I don't like this about myself- but I don't know how to change it. Just keepin it real

We have an intensely annoying barker here as well! I'm not so great at the just dropping in either, not because I'm not here, but because my house is usually a mess...

we did not do the jr. high orientation, it was lame and we learned this from taylor's entering jr. high. i love you barking dog, i love your house. the thing that is missing in this post is that whenever i come to your house i feel like i'm part of the family. it doesn't matter what you wear or what you have going on, you always make me feel welcome, super welcome and this has everything to do with you and your darling family...and maybe your darling checkered floor, and your mis-matched chairs and all your fiesta wear dishes, maybe that too, but mostly, it's just you. sorry to hear you've had a hard week. love ya!

I'm a chronic overplanner, too! I feel a bond.

My putter-wear is my jammie pants.
