After a big day of you know, hanging out, getting pedicures, learning maternity clothes are hard to come by (except in Provo Utah), we ran over to the fabric store last night.
I am glad we did- we looked over girl options & boy options.
I couldn't resist & bought 4 yards of the main girl option-
it was 50% off, seasonal & I got scared...
scared it would run out before we find out what the baby is!
Now I have jinxed it- it'll be a boy for sure... not that I have anything against boys. I have three boys, i love boys, it's just that sewing for girls is - you know- so much... girlier!
THEN-
trent woke up this morning & announced he dreamed megan had the baby & it was a boy.
*do you believe in jinx?

I LOVE, Love, love, that fabric! I can't believe you are going to be a grandma. How exciting!
I do love that top girl fabric. I don't believe in jinxes, but if is a boy, do not fret, there will be many many girl grandbabies in your future.
However, I agree that they are more fun to sew for. I never want my boys to feel left out, so when I am making dresses for the girls I always offer to make one for them too. The funny thing is, they always decline my offer????
Cute stuff!!! You need to find some flannel for my Mom to hemstitch for you and come look at what she has already.
I hope your not jinxed!
I don't really believe in jinx--except just for fun.
The girl fabric is darling (hello, of course!), but if things turn out differently you can always use it for something else. And hurriedly stock up on boy fabric. :)
How funny that Trent had that dream. Both fabric options are darling, I'm so excited for you all.
maybe you'll get lucky and she'll have one of each. :)
i do love that top girl fabric though - i am a sucker for birds.
I love both fabrics but the girl fabric is particularly irresistable!--
It's so nice that you are able to spend time together--success or not with the maternity clothing thing, it's still meaningful to be together...
I love being with my mom...I don't see her nearly enough as I'd like...I hope that one of my daughters someday values me as much as I do my mom...
I believed in jinxes for about 6 months when on a Haiti flight, I got into a confrontation with a Haitian woman (who happend to be sitting in front of my jumpseat)--
Upon landing, I noticed that she was doing some weird thing with her hands...I'm not sure if it was just my imagination or not, but for the next several months, everything that could go wrong...did!
crazy--huh?
I think it was just a dumb coincidence...
Love the fabric. I don't believe in jinxes. I think that you are blessed with what you're blessed with. I love my girls but my boy is so much easier.
that top girl choice is SO cute!
So glad you guys were having such fun times:) i love all the fabric and can't wait to see what kind you get to make:)
