four little words- every single morning

"Mom- come find me!" EVery morning for years... unless he's up earlier than me-
Trent comes down- I'm in the kitchen- and he does this.
I know, he knows... that I can see him.
-I always pretend I can't & almost sit on him-
I don't know how much longer it will last
but I suppose I will miss it when it's over.

Oh Trent...that's cute. And yeah I bet you will be sad when he grows out of it.

I love that!--How endearing!

I sometimes pretend with my son that I'm looking for a nice quiet place to lay my head and sit down on his bed with him in it...(all the while both of us knowing that he's laying there)

Be sure to tell this story someday to his kids...

it's all the little stuff about being a mom that makes it so great. i'm so glad you got this documented, he will appreciate that you did some day. - and so will you.

Soooo cute! Carter does something similar. After he has his bath he goes in his room and covers up with his towel and I HAVE to pretend that I can’t find him. I pretend that I am going to step on him. I wonder how long it will last with us?

I need to find out what the name of this country song is but I heard it the other day and it made me cry...it's about someone with older kids 20's and 30's saying to people with little kids how they will miss all the little kids stuff...it's so true...enjoy it while it lasts.

almost brings tears to my eyes thinking about the little things that I often overlook until they are gone

That's pretty cute. I think it's great to document these things -- who knows when the last time will be?
