Chloe & Caroline are taking child development this year.
For extra credit they brought home the dreaded... mechanical babies.
For the whole weekend- aaaah!!
They have been good sports about it. I think they are both really, really tired. Those babies don't sleep well at night. They have micro chips inside of them. The teacher can download the chip & find out every. single. thing. & she'll know if the baby is ignored or if something doesn't go just right. (Even if the baby's neck falls back too far.) There are bottles, diapers, burping to be done. Being a mom-- even a mom to a mechanical child-- it's a tough 24/7 job.

Somebody is obsessed & wants a mechanical baby doll too....
you know, so he can practice being a dad.
Yesterday he asked me if in High School he could take auto shop & child development.
Sure! In fact if you ask me-- child development should be a requirement.

Those dolls are such a great idea, far more effective than carrying around a sack of flour for a weekend!
We never had those! Sounds like a good taste of what parenthood is really like...
